Mrs Granger takes her son Nathan to the school careers evening, where the advice of teacher Mr Stanwick is rather unusual.

Production history:
The play had a performed reading at Actors and Writers London in July 2015. The actors were Charlie Dupré, Teresa Jennings (see photo above) and Peter Saracen, and the director was Hayward Morse.
It was staged by Brave New Word in the May Day showcase at Theatre N16, London, in 2016.
The play was performed by the Complete Theatre Company in the Jensen Fest in New York in 2017.
It was staged in Pocket Plays in St Petersburg, Russia, in 2018 (see poster below).
"Career Opportunities" was produced as a podcast by Theatrical Shenanigans in December 2024. The actors were Robert Knowles, Rebecca Cockcroft and Jeff Tullin.
